Lovely antique Edwardian gold filled round photo locket on a 14K gold filled Rolo chain. The front features a monogram with what appears to be the initials MEH in an old cursive font in the very center. The back is plain with no design. There are two round photo wells inside and both have their frames and plastic covers still intact.
This type of locket was popular in the Edwardian Era and was worn by ladies like those in this antique photo of my grandmother, Gertrude, and my Aunt Ella, that is circa 1905.
This locket, which is circa early 1900s, hangs from a new 18” long 14K gold filled chain with a spring ring clasp.
The bale on this initialed antique locket is a plain oval loop. The locket has its hinge on the left and opens from the right. The locket closes securely with a snap. The spring ring clasp on the gold filled Rolo chain closes securely as well.

Condition:
In fair to nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an antique item that is circa early 1900s. Some small pinpoint impressions on the back - see photos for detail.

The 14K gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
