Beautiful and exceptionally large Joseph Smith & Sons English, vintage silver oval locket, etched with a whimsical swirling leaves design. The sterling silver pendant opens easily and holds two oval areas for photos. The design is on the front of the locket. The back is plain and has a shiny finish.
The inside of the locket is empty and can hold two large, oval sized photos. No frames remain.
This vintage locket is attached to a long, 24'' matinee length sterling silver rope chain.
The back of the locket has English silver hallmarks for JS - Joseph Smith & Sons, Birmingham, England. The cursive L hallmark is for 1985, when the locket was made.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition. Clasps work well, some light patina is present on the locket is present but could be polished to really shine if so desired. Most patina inside of the locket. See photos for details.

We do offer gift wrapping for a special occasion or for holidays. Just let us know what occasion your gift is for and if you have a special message you would like us to include.
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
