Description:
Adorable classic etched vintage gold filled and Sterling Silver heart shaped locket necklace. The sweet and feminine piece has a gold flower etched on the center with decorative etched lines that swirl all around it. The back of the locket features columns of etched vertical pinstripes.
The interior of the locket is completely empty and can hold two heart shaped photos (one on each side).
The hallmark for the Vargas Jewelry Company is on one of the inner wells. The Vargas Manufacturing Company was established in 1950 in Providence, Rhode Island and made rings, bracelets, crosses, and of course, lockets like this one.
We have attached the vintage locket to a new fine 14K gold filled chain which secures with a spring clasp.

In nice vintage condition. Some light use marks here and there and some patina on the interior commensurate with vintage age - circa mid century. The chain is in very good condition as it is new.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
