Description:
Adorable and unique vintage white gold plated shield shaped locket with a very interesting crest on the front that is surrounded by vertical pinstriped lines. The crest has many things on it including a bird in flight at the top, 5 stars on a diagonal in the center, a wheel at the top right and a snake at the bottom left. Under all these items is the date 1874 in the center. On either side of the date are the letters (that appear to be) EVKNP on one side and M10SOS on the other. The locket has a fold over clasp at the top that stays securely closed.
The three sides of the shield shape locket front have an etched leafy border that ends with an etched flower the very bottom. The locket is plain on the back.
This very unique locket has its hinge on the bottom and opens from the top. The locket opens and closes securely.
The interior of the locket can hold two photos. Both of the frames and the paper backing on one side of the interior are still intact.
The locket has an 17” long Sterling Silver twisted link chain which secures with a spring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
