Description:
A vintage 12K gold filled locket in an oval shape with a very intricate etched design on the front and an etched border on the back. The large oval locket hangs on a new 14K gold filled cable chain with spring ring clasp.
The shape in the center of this locket front has an etched 4-petal flower and framing curls around it in a very ornate design. All around this delicate central shape of the locket front is an etched oval that is filled with a very fine black enamel outline. On the very outer edge is an outline or tiny raised dots with some arched designs. And on the beveled edges is a row of raised dots as well.
The reverse side of this vintage locket has the exact same design except for the central flower - the center of the back is plain with no etched floral. The locket has 2 oval wells inside. One has a frame with the plastic cover and the other has a frame with a paper backing.
The edges on both the front and the back sides of this locket have a wonderful small design with curls and raised tiny rounds all around them adding to the intricate look of this circa early to mid 1900s locket.
The bale is a simple round loop. This locket has the hinge on the left, and opens on the right. It slides securely.
The spring ring clasp on the new 22" long cable link chain opens and closes securely.

Condition:
The locket is in nice vintage condition with light wear and some patina for an item that is circa early to mid 1900s. See photos for detail. The new chain is in very nice condition.
Markings:
1/20 12 K and B B inside individual circles all inside a heart shape in one of the wells.
Chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
