Lovely antique Art Nouveau gold filled photo locket on a 14K gold filled chain. The front features an ornately etched design with flowers and some leafy and curling designs on the bottom edge. This garland frames the shape in the middle of this antique piece. As a contrast, there is a wonderfully shaped cartouche in the very center that is rose gold filled in color. This central cartouche in a shield type of shape with a rounded bottom and 3 points at the top, is raised, and has an engraved monogram with the initials LK in an old cursive font. The back is plain with no design and has a satin finish.
Inside this antique locket is one photo frame that is hallmarked with W. S. & B with a star shape which is the mark for the W & S Blackington Company. This company was started by two brothers in 1865, and was a manufacturer of gold jewelry. It was located in Meriden, CT.
Inside the locket there are 2 round photo wells. One has a pink foil paper backing with the frame intact while the other well holds a black and white photo of a young man that is circa 1920s.
This vintage round and larger sized locket hangs from a 20" long gold filled cable link chain.
The locket, that has its hinge on the bottom, opens easily and closes securely. The spring ring clasp on the 20” long gold filled chain also closes securely.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
