Description:
A striking vintage 12K yellow gold filled and white gold filled locket necklace in an oval shape and with an ornate front that features 3 blue (lab created) sapphires set on a raised white and gold filled rectangle. This locket hangs on a 14K gold filled fine link chain. In the bottom center of the raised central rectangle on the locket front are 3 round faceted .03mm blue sapphires hat are bead set. The gemstones are most likely lab created. Above this raised rectangle is another stacked yellow gold filled square shape that is divided into 4 rectangles: one vertical on the left side and 3 horizontal in the remaining right side of the square. Etched inside the middle horizontal rectangle is a tiny single zigzag. Very unusual! The edges of this locket are beveled on both the front and back sides.
The back of the locket is plain with no design. While this estate jewelry locket is of a nice size, it is very lightweight. The locket, that closes securely, is hallmarked on the inner frame.
The hinge on this retro locket is on the left side, and it opens from the right side. The interior of the locket with 2 oval photo wells is currently completely empty.
The bale on this locket is a whale’s tail shape. The locket hangs from a new 14K yellow gold filled cable link chain with a spring ring closure that opens and closes securely.

Length of locket - 1 1/4" with the large bale (1 1/8" without the loop at the top). With the whale tail bale, the locket hangs 1 5/8" long.

Locket is marked 1/20 12K GF with a maker's mark that is a triangle with a small letter/symbol inside it.
The chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
