Description:
A wonderful vintage 10K gold filled oval shaped locket necklace with an ornately decorated outer frame and etched front that features a central oval cartouche with the monogram "ERH" engraved inside it. All around the cartouche is an ornate etched frame. The locket shape is an oval but has squared sides giving it a very unique shape. This locket, that is circa early 1900s, has both etched and repousse designs all around the front edge.
The back of the locket has a wonderful design of vertical etched lines with some slight scallops in the lines at alternating places.
The locket is hallmarked in one of the wells on the inside. This locket opens from the right and is hinged on the left. The locket opens easily and closes securely.
The interior of the locket has two compartments that are oval shaped so that it can hold two photos (one on each side). Both wells have an old black and white photo under the plastic cover and the two frames are still intact. (The photos look circa 1940s.)
The vintage locket hangs from a 14K gold filled twisted link chain that secures with a spring clasp. The bale is a plain round loop.

NOTE: The F. M. Co. hallmark stands for the Finberg Manufacturing Company. F M Company made vanity cases and jewelry items during the 1920s and 1930s. The company was located in the Attleboro, MA area.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
