Description:
A Victorian style 925 Sterling Silver locket in a very unique design with an ornate and detachable bale frame on the top. This is a Ben Bridge Jewelers piece that is in its original box. The front features an ornately etched front and a plain back. the front has etched swirls, curls, horizontal lines and tiny crosshatching. There is an etched line all around the edges of this locket that frames this ornate design etched in the front.
The airy openwork bale attaches at each side in a special way. There are 2 tiny rounds that the hinged bale frame fits onto. As such, it swings freely front and back. It can be removed completely. The bale itself is a slightly fanned oval loop.
The locket is most likely circa 1990s, and it looks as though the 2 photo compartments were never used to hold photos. This photo locket has 2 plastic covers over a dark material in the 2 photo wells. (This locket has no frames, just the covers and the backing.)
The removable sterling silver locket has the hinge on the bottom and opens on the top side. It swings freely around so that the front and back side can both been seen. The round locket section alone (with no bale or frame) can be completely removed from the bale frame that holds it in place.
The 24” long chain is a sterling silver curb link chain that has a spring ring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely. The chain is the original chain and is hallmarked on the clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
