Description:
Lovely oval vintage gold filled locket on a fine 14K gold filled twisted link chain. This Retro Era (circa 1940s) jewelry piece features a central rectangular cartouche surrounded by a textured surface made up of fine pinstripes. On either side of these vertical etched lines is an etched garland column that fills the remainder of the front. The back side features columns of etched vertical wavy lines.
The outer edges, both front and back, have beveled cut corners giving the locket edge a faceted look. These outer edges of both the back and the front of this vintage locket have a shiny finish. The bale is a plain round loop.
There are 2 oval compartments for photos inside this locket. These compartments inside this circa 1940s locket are completely empty.
The hinge for this vintage locket is on the left side and it opens from the right side. The locket closes securely.
The locket hangs on a fine twisted link 14K gold filled chain. The chain’s spring ring clasp opens and closes securely.
The locket is circa mid century or earlier. This locket is a classic and looks great worn on either the front or the back side.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
