Description:
Classy and larger sized vintage gold filled rectangular locket pendant necklace on a 14K gold filled chain. The rectangle locket has cut corners and is hallmarked for the RBM (R. B. MacDonald) Company - see NOTE below.
The front of this vintage locket has an oval cartouche on the top left side. The remainder of the front has etched pinstripes. The locket pendant is circa early 1900s, and has a nice Art Deco look.
NOTES:
There is a hallmark of RBM on the frame inside this locket. This hallmark stands for the R.B. MacDonald Company, which began operations in 1874.
The back of the locket is plain with no pattern or design. This larger sized rectangular locket has its hinge on the top. The locket opens from the bottom and has no clasp - it simply opens and closes like a book using the frame to keep the photo in place. The bale is a plain round loop.
The interior of the locket has one frame inside one well. This well has an old black and white photo of a little girl with a pixie haircut that is circa 1920s. The other side is empty.
The locket hangs from a new 21” long 14K gold filled chain which secures with a spring ring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.
A unique piece of estate jewelry with a large size and shape that make it quite memorable!

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
