Description:
Wonderful round antique brass and gold filled locket featuring an engraved and repousse front with the name "Theresa” in and old cursive script and a monogram of “EGG” on the back. There are three small decorative accent lines above and below the name Theresa on the front. This Art Nouveau Era 2 photo locket hangs on a 14K gold filled Rolo chain.
The front side of this locket has the engraved name on a large rounded repousse area near the center that is surrounded with rows of raised round shapes in graduated sizes, a flower, and curls or swirls. The flower is on the bottom right. The front side of the locket is jeweler’s brass. The back side that has the EGG monogram in an old cursive font is gold filled.
The vintage locket opens from the top and has a hinge on the bottom. The locket opens and closes securely.
The locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled Rolo chain that has a spring ring clasp closure. The clasp opens and closes securely.
This type of engraved item was popular during the early 1900s.
There are two photo compartments inside this vintage locket - both wells have the frames and plastic covers still intact. They are currently empty and ready for your photos.

Condition:
In fair to nice antique condition with wear and patina on both sides that is commensurate with age - circa early 1900s. The locket has a slight depression on the back - see photo closeups for detail.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
