Description:
Adorable and classic vintage 10K gold heart shaped locket on a 10K gold fine twisted link chain. The lovely and feminine locket pendant has a central cartouche that is inside an ornate etched diamond shape. The background features chased vertical pinstripes. The hinge for this Retro Era locket is on the left side and it opens on the right side.
The interior of the locket is empty and can hold two photos (one on each side). Currently, only one frame is intact. The fanned bale has vertical lines that compliment the front of this vintage locket's design.
The back of this little locket is plain with no design.
The locket is attached to a new and very fine 18" long 10K gold twisted link chain that secures with a spring clasp.
Beautiful piece of vintage jewelry that is mid century in age.
Measures:
Chain: 18'' long.
Locket: 7/8'' long with the bale, and 73/4" long without the bale. The locket is about 3/4'' wide.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with light wear. More scratching on the back as it is plain with no design - see photo for detail. Locket opens and closes securely. The 10K yellow gold twisted link chain is new and is in good condition. The spring ring clasp on the chain works well.
Marked:
Locket is marked 10K with a stylized PH maker's mark on the back of the locket and on the back of the bale.
Bale is hallmarked with the stylized PH on the back.
Chain is marked 10KT on the spring ring clasp.
NOTE:
PH maker's mark is for Philips Manufacturing Co. from Brooklyn, NY that was in business from 1950 - 1965.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
