Description:
A wonderful classic vintage round gold filled locket necklace with an etched front and a plain back. The center front features a rectangular cartouche that is surrounded by an etched marquis shape background. There is a row of etched flowered garland on the left and the right sides.
The locket is hallmarked inside 1/20 12K GF and has the maker's mark of D. & C. CO.
The pendant hangs from a vintage serpentine 12K gold filled chain that is 17” long.
This vintage locket opens from the top and is hinged on the bottom. The locket opens easily and closes securely.
NOTE:
This hallmark is for the Daggett & Clap Co. that operated out of Attleboro, MA circa 1896 to 1915.
The interior of the locket has two round compartments that can hold photos (one on each side). Both of of the round frames are present inside. The hinge is on the bottom and the locket opens from the top.
The antique locket hangs from a vintage 17" long 12K gold filled serpentine chain that secures with a spring ring clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
