Adorable and unique vintage 10K gold filled hallmarked round locket pendant on a fine cable link 12K gold filled chain. The hallmark inside under the paper backing on this necklace is for the F. M. Company - the Finberg Manufacturing Company. F M Company made jewelry and vanity cases during the 1920s and 1930s. The company was located in the Attleboro, MA region.
The sweet and feminine piece has an oval cartouche on the front that has an ornately etched border around it. This frame around the oval features leaves and four small etched flowers: one at the top, one at the bottom. and one on each side. There is the same raised design all around the front and the back edges of this vintage locket. This design features a series of 2 sizes of repousse curls with a small line of rope design on their inner edge.
The center of the back of the locket is plain with no design apart from the raised repousse border. The locket has a shiny finish on the back.
This feminine round locket has its hinge on the bottom and opens from the top. The locket opens and closes securely. The locket has a bale that has a textured finish on it in tiny checkered pattern.
The interior of the locket can hold two photos. The frames, the celluloid covers, and gold paper backings are still intact.
The locket has an 18” long 12K fine cable link gold filled chain which secures with a spring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.

Chain is marked 1/20 12K GF on the spring ring clasp. The is a small hallmark on the tag next to the clasp.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
