Description:
Classy vintage gold filled hallmarked round locket pendant necklace on a 12K gold filled twisted rope chain. The front of this vintage locket has a raised design with a shield shape in the very center. There is an etched flower above and below the shield and on the sides are some engine turned background textures that are separated by raised curled swirl shape. The locket pendant is circa early 1900s.
NOTES:
The hallmark inside this locket stands for the R.B. MacDonald Company, which opened in 1874. The Bee hallmark with the Atrice is for the “Little Beatrice” line of lockets which they started to produce around 1902.
The back of the locket is plain with no design. This feminine round locket has its hinge on the bottom and opens from the top. The locket opens and closes securely. The bale is a plain round loop.
The interior of the locket is can hold two round photos. Both wells have the frames and the celluloid covers still intact. One well has some off-white paper backing.
The locket hangs from a vintage 20” long 12K gold filled twisted link chain which secures with a spring ring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.

Condition:
In fair to nice antique condition with light wear on the front commensurate with vintage age. The back shows loss of gold fill and pitting - see photos for detail. The locket is circa early 1900s.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
