Description:
An etched oval shaped gold plated locket featuring an intricate etched floral and pinstriped design on the front. The front has an etched flower curving around the right side. To the left are vertical etched pinstripes. On the left side a curved scalloped line is etched into the locket front that closes around the pinstripes and the flower leaving a small edge or frame around the locket front that is plain with a shiny finish. The back of the locket is plain with no design and has a shiny finish.
We call this locket a “Timeworn Treasure” as this early to mid 1900s era piece shows wear from its past. It is still a lovely piece from yesteryear to be worn and enjoyed today!
This vintage locket holds two oval shaped photo compartments inside. The hinge is on the right side and this locket opens from the left side. The sides must be lined up exactly for it to close. The locket closes securely with a snap.
The locket hangs from a new 18” long 14K gold filled Rolo chain.
The spring ring clasp on the hallmarked gold filled Rolo chain opens and closes securely. The chain is marked 1/20 14K GF on the spring ring clasp.

Condition:
This vintage locket is in fair to nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with age including scratching, patina, and a light impressions. On the back the gold plate has worn to the base metal on the bottom right edge which can be seen upon close inspection. The inner photo compartments have darkened with age and one has some paper and glue residue. While the locket closes securely, the hinge is slightly bent. While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
