Description:
A wonderful petite vintage 14K yellow gold heart shaped locket necklace with a front that features a small round faceted diamond in the center. The stone is prong set inside an etched starburst shape. The locket is circa 1950s and is hallmarked for the True Kay Company.
The diamond in the center front of this Retro Era locket pendant is approximately .01 carat in size. Around the diamond is a heart shaped background that has a textured or brushed finish. The outer edge, just beyond this textured area, has a shiny finish. It provides a subtle border on the locket front.
The back also has a shiny finish. The back of the locket is engraved with the monogram “RMG” in a cursive font.
NOTE:
The TK hallmark (the T and the K are connected) stands for the Tru-Kay Jewelry Manufacturing Company. They operated out of Providence, Rhode Island circa the 1950s.
This small locket opens from the right and is hinged on the left. The locket has a fanned bale.
The interior of the locket has two tiny wells that are heart shaped so that it can hold two photos (one on each side).
The vintage locket hangs from a new 14K yellow gold fine link chain that secures with a spring ring clasp. The locket opens as intended and closes securely.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
