Description:
A classic vintage gold filled heart locket with two seed pearls and three clear paste accent gems at the top front and an etched floral design on the center front. (See note below about PASTE.)
The front of this vintage locket features 3 round faceted paste stones and two seed pearls set along the very top of the heart shape in the two lobes of the heart. At the very center top of this heart shape is an etched flower. A series of etched leaves flow down each side of the heart to form a type of border. There are etched curls at the top of each lobe of the heart as well. All around the outer edge of the heart shape is an etched border with a tiny zig zagged line.
The back side of this circa mid century locket is plain with no design and a shiny finish.
Inside the locket are two heart shaped compartments for photos. The locket closes securely. The hinge is on the left and the locket opens at the right. The bale is a plain round loop.
The photo locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled Rolo chain that is 18” in length. The spring ring clasp opens and closes as intended.
NOTE:
“Paste” stones are a type of cut glass. Paste stones were mainly produced to imitate the look of diamonds. The most commonly used material for paste was lead glass.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
