Description:
A vintage etched yellow gold filled locket that features a square shape that has an etched front. The front has etched pinstripes on either side of a wider band that is in the center. This center band has a square cartouche etched in the middle. All around these striped designs is an ornate etched design of curls and swirls that frames the complete front of this little locket.
The bale is a plain round loop. The back of the locket is plain with no design. This locket is quite slender, more so than most. The hinge is on the bottom and it opens from the top using a small fold-over round tab. The wells inside are also quite slender and are currently empty.
Inside the dainty locket there are 2 square wells for two photos. The locket opens and closes using a unique little round tab on the top. The locket is early 1900s.
The Art Deco Era locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled twisted link chain. The spring ring clasp on the chain opens as intended and closes securely.

Condition:
The locket is in fair to nice antique condition with wear and scratching commensurate with age - early 1900s. There is more wear/scratching on the back than the front, and some small impressions on the back - see photos for detail.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
