Beautiful and larger sized gold filled locket featuring two separate and intricate etched designs on the front and the back sides. The shape and the way this Victorian Era locket reminds one of a pocket watch. It hangs from a 22” long vintage gold filled curb chain.
One side of this antique locket features an etched square in the center that has a landscape with buildings, clouds, and hills and an intricate etched trim all around the scene. The other side features an etched floral design with a single flower in the center of a decorative cross shape. All around the floral design are the same etched designs around the pastoral landscape scene on the opposite side.
The locket opens by pressing the round button on the top of the ball and ring section much like one would open a pocket watch.
Inside the locket are two round photo wells. One well or compartment is empty and shows quite a lot of wear. The other side still has the brown cloth backing, the glass cover and the frame all still intact. As the locket is larger than most and has some depth, a small memento could also be kept inside this Late 1800s piece.
The antique locket opens and closes securely with a snap.
This distinct and classy locket hangs from a vintage gold filled curb chain. The spring ring clasp on the chain opens and closes securely. The clasp on this chain is an old fashioned one - the tab to push it open is on the inner clasp itself.
The locket is circa the late 1800s to early 1900s.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
