Description:
Lovely antique gold filled photo locket that has a Christian design on the front making it very unique. In the center of the locket is a raised cross with an ornate background behind it that is a crown of thorns. Around the cross and inside the crown of thorns design are rays like a starburst. The whole front of the locket has this beautiful and ornate design featuring these Christian symbols.
The locket itself measures 7/8” in diameter and it hangs on a 14K yellow gold filled chain. There are two photo wells inside the locket. The back side of the locket is plain with no design.
This round religious photo locket had a patent mark inside inside that is dated 1912.
The locket has a hinge on the bottom and opens from the top.
The 14K gold filled 18” long fine oval link chain has a spring ring clasp that opens and closes securely.

Condition:
In nice antique condition with wear as would be expected an item that is from the early 1900s. The back side, being plain, shows more wear. On the back, there is a recessed area where the round hallmark piece is located inside. See photos for detail.

The locket is marked inside the back well with PAT. APR-9 12 inside a raised circle
The 18” long gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K on the spring ring closure.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
