Description:
Lovely antique round gold filled photo locket on a 14K gold filled Rolo chain. The locket has an Art Nouveau design in the front that features raised flowers, a central scroll shape and 2 arched rows of 5 small faceted “paste” stones in the center. The flowers look like lilies and there is one in either side of the locket front. Their leafy raised stems curl down and around the bottom.
The 10 paste stones are all round and have darkened with age though they appear to have been clear. These two curved rows of stones are around a domed center on the front of this locket.
The locket opens as intended and closes securely with a snap. The hinge is at the bottom and the locket opens from the top.
NOTE: "Paste" stones are a type of cut glass. Paste stones were mainly produced to imitate the look of diamonds. The most commonly used material for paste was lead glass.
The back side of this vintage locket is plain and has a shiny finish.
Inside the locket are two compartments for photos. One has the frame and and old black and white photo of a woman inside it that is circa early 1900s. The opposite side is empty.
The new 14K gold filled Rolo chain's spring ring clasp closes securely.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with wear as would be expected an antique gold filled item that is circa early 1900s. The back side, being plain, shows more wear and has some small pinpoint indentations on the top left - see photos for detail.

The 18” long gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K near the spring ring closure.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
