Beautiful antique gold filled fob locket necklace in a round shape with two ornate yet different designs on the front and back. This Edwardian era locket has an etched side that features round curls and swirls at the bottom and left while on the other side is an etched shape with an oval that has a little fleur de lis inside. All around the outer edge of this side of the locket are little etched triangular shapes. This type of locket was very popular during the Edwardian era.
The top of the locket and the sides have an intricate openwork frame where the bale and loop are. The interior of the locket has two photo wells that could each hold a photo. One side has the frame and celluloid cover still intact, and the other side is empty. This unique yet classic gold filled fob Locket is a form locket and has the hinge on the bottom and it opens from the top. It closes securely.
The locket is hallmarked for the S.K. Merill Company - and is circa the early 1900s. The S.K. Merill Company manufactured jewelry from 1871-1915.
The vintage gold filled locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled oval link chain. The spring ring clasp opens and closes securely.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
