Description:
An adorable vintage compass charm on a sterling silver chain. This very unique antique pendant features a small round compass with a tiny blue arrow inside that moves like a compass. There is a small clear glass cover over the arrow inside the round case. The back of the compass case has a circular design.
All around this little charm piece is an ornate openwork design that has four circles - two on the top and two on the bottom. Inside the circles are small flower shapes. There are four small silver rounds in between these circle shapes, and silver curls are all around the elements of the design.
This charm pendant is circa early 1900s, while the sterling silver chain is new.
There is a bale loop on the top of the filigree frame where it attaches to the necklace chain. The round bale loop is stamped in two places.
The chain is a sterling silver oval link chain that has a lobster clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.

Chain: 18” long
Charm: 1 1/3" long with the bale loop. It is 1 1/4" wide.

Condition:
In nice antique condition with wear and patina commensurate with vintage age. The glass compass covering in the center of the charm is cloudy. The compass arrow itself moves inside, but appears to be ornamental.
Marked:
Charm has two stamps on the bale loop that are undecipherable.
Chain is marked 925 on the inner movable part of the lobster clasp

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
