Description:
Lovely round antique gold filled photo locket that is circa the 1910s. The front of this Art Nouveau era locket features five raised artistically placed vertical drip lines with a bit more of a shiny surface on them than is seen on the matte background. One of these five lines, the curled and curved line in the center, is the longest with the lines on each side graduated in length.
The back side is plain with no design and has a matte finish.
Inside the locket are two compartments for photos. One side has the frame and the paper backing still intact. The locket closes securely. The hinge is on the left and the locket opens at the right.
The antique photo locket hangs from a new 14K gold filled fine cable chain that is 18” in length. The spring ring closure opens and closes securely.

Markings:
The locket is marked inside with a hand etched number 54. There is no maker's mark but tests as 12K gold filled.
The 18” long gold filled chain is stamped 1/20 14K on the spring ring closure.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
