Description:
Vintage mid century (circa 1970s) heart locket pendant. The locket features a chased and etched swirled and whimsical design on the front top section and a plain area with no design just below that. The design ends on a bit of a diagonal. This Retro Era locket is plain on the back with a hallmark SILVER at the very bottom. The locket has its hinge on the left side and it opens on the right. Inside the locket are two wells for photos. The heart shaped photo wells inside this mid century locket are a little deeper than most as this locket is a bit thicker.
The large heart pendant comes on a fine 18" long sterling silver oval link chain that has a spring ring clasp.

Pendant: 1'' (with bail). Without bail: approx. 7/8'' by 7/8'' wide.

Condition:
In nice vintage condition with some light use marks and patina on the pendant commensurate with vintage age - circa 1970s. The back has a depressed area at the top center and a small dent under the word SILVER - see photos for detail. The chain is new and is in very nice condition. The clasp opens and closes securely.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
