A lovely vintage rose gold heart shaped locket on a 14K rose gold filled chain. This classic hallmarked necklace features a monogram with the initials DEN in an old cursive font on the front, which has a matte finish. The back side of this heart locket is plain - also with a matte finish. This antique rose gold filled heart shaped locket is hallmarked on the inside of one of the photo wells with RBM a bee and ATRICE making it a RB MacDonald locket from the early 1900s. See NOTE below about this line of lockets.
The two round compartment inside have their frames and plastic covers intact. One has the paper backing as well, while the other side is where the hallmark can be seen.
The locket hinge is on the right and it opens on the left side. The locket closes securely.
The locket hangs from a new 18” long fine link 14K rose gold filled chain with a spring ring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.
NOTE:
The hallmark inside under the photo that says RBM stands for the R.B. MacDonald Company, which opened in 1874. The Bee hallmark with the Atrice is for the “Little Beatrice” line of lockets which they started to produce around 1903, dating this locket to the early 1900s.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
