Antique 14K Gold Filled slide with an abalone top and a dog chain clasp necklace. This classic piece of Victorian jewelry is 49” long and 24 1/2” long when doubled. The round slide moves easily on the new 14K gold filled heavy rolo link chain (the original chain was broken in two places). The clasp at the end of this Edwardian era necklace is hallmarked C.A.M. & CO.
The gold filled slide on this necklace is a small round shape that is of course, wide enough for the chain to pass through in two places on each side. The slide is approximately 1/3" in diameter. The colorful top features a bezel set round piece of abalone while the back of the slide is plain. The abalone top piece flashes green, pink, and turquoise colors. There is a swivel dog chain clip on the end of this Victorian Era necklace.
Slide chains were popular in the late 1880s into the early 1900s and were often worn with a pendant watch attached to the dog chain clip. In modern times, as in older times, they are a classic pieces that add to any outfit or ensemble.

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
