Description:
An etched large oval shaped gold filled locket featuring an intricate floral design on the front. The front has a central cartouche area that is blank. Around this are etched floral designs. The designs include a large flower and fanned leaf both above and below the central square cartouche. These fanned leaves accentuate the curve of this elongated oval. On either side of the cartouche are three smaller etched flowers. The back of the locket is plain with no design and it has a shiny finish.
We call this a “Timeworn Treasure” as this Victorian era piece shows some wear from its past including light scratching on the front with some denting on the back. It is still a lovely piece from yesteryear to be worn and enjoyed today!
This antique locket holds two photo compartments inside. The hinge is on the left side and this locket opens from the right side. The Victorian locket hangs beautifully from a heavy 18” long 12K gold filled rope chain. The locket closes securely.
The spring ring clasp on the hallmarked gold filled chain opens and closes securely.

Locket: 2 1/8”(including the bale) x 3/4" wide. Without the bale, this Victorian locket is 2" in long.

Condition:

While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.
The jewelry pieces in our shop are vintage or antique pieces. We do not sell modern day (new) reproductions. As such, all of our jewelry is used and has been worn and enjoyed prior to your purchase. We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
