Vintage 12K Gold Filled Heart Locket Necklace: Carved Cameo, Etched Floral Design

A classic gold filled heart shaped locket necklace that holds two photos from the early mid century. It is hallmarked inside on the one frame and hangs from a 14K gold filled chain. The heart is etched with floral and leaf designs on either side of the oval cameo. The carved oval shaped cameo has an off-white/white carved top surface while the lower portion of the carved resin oval is a light pink color. The cameo is bezel set in the very center of the heart shape. All around the cameo and around the heart shape itself is a fine etched zig zag pattern that highlights the locket front. The back of this circa 1940s locket is plain with no design and has a shiny finish.
The locket hangs from a new fine cable link chain that is 14K gold filled and has a spring ring clasp. The locket and the chain clasp close securely.
Inside the locket are two old black and white photos that are circa 1940s: one of a service man (sailor) and one of a woman with dark hair who is wearing a hat.

Care instructions
While vintage and antique jewelry items have endured the test of time, we offer recommendations so that they continue to give you years of wear. We advise removing jewelry for washing hands, dishes, sports, before sleeping and during vigorous activity as they may be damaged. Wash your jewelry with warm water, mild, detergent-free soap, and a soft toothbrush.

We try very best to accurately describe the condition of each piece and show the condition in our photos.
Do you accept returns on items that have been altered?
We accept returns and refund on items only if the item is in the same condition it was when it was sent to the customer. If you choose to alter/change/modify an item, it is not eligible for a return or refund.
What is your policy for multiple returns in a short period of time?
We gladly accept returns for a full refund. However, when more than 4 returns from the same shipping address are requested within a 2 month period, we cannot accept a new order. It will be cancelled and fully refunded.
